If you're farming and normally only train goblins, it's annoying to have to throw away tons of really good troops that are supposed to be for battle day. Instead, we could save the extra troops like the new extra layout feature, but for battle day only. I understand that we can't use them for regular troops, because it would be like having reserve elixir.
