If you really wanted to be generous, you would have put the gold in the corner, and moved the TH inside. That way you wouldn't be getting the 12 hour shield every attack, and give more people a chance at the free gold.

I am another TH7 swimming in gold after maxing out walls and having all builders busy for days.

I put 2 gold storages with $3 mil maxed with 6 gold mines and had no shield. Nobody attacked me after 4 hours. Go figure.

My guess was the lower TH didn't want to lose trophies. The higher town halls didn't want to bother with the rest of the base for no elixir.

I stuck my townhall up in the corner was attacked within 10-15 minutes. I did a barb drop and surrender to break the shield. Logged off again and was attacked again within 10-15 minutes by another TH7.

I was raided probably 7 or 8 times, while breaking shield throughout the day. It didn't really make a dent, because my clan castle had another 700k in gold that I couldn't collect. I kept on collecting whatever gold that I could to max out the storage again.

Meanwhile, I have research going on for 1.5 mil elixir, a barrack upgrading to level 9, a barb king upgrade, tesla, archer tower and a cannon upgrading. I can't dump the gold into walls.

Why do all these free loot bases has such crappy low cups?

Crystal and above leagues need such things, not Silver / Gold leagues...

My cups are low because I am farming here.

But no one has attacked me in the last 2 hours. Surprising.

People won't spare a few trophies for a sure 250,000 gold loot.

People have raided my gold storages and TH for 24 hours. I finally dropped down enough to empty out the 700k from the clan castle war loot. Tesla came up for upgrade and burned another 1.5 mil and put the storages back inside the base.

I was hoping for free trophies. People won't attack a storage, unless the TH is included in the corner with them.
