First off Supercell, i would like to congratulate you on clan wars, it was an amazing update, and is one of the main reasons i play the game, im sure many here would agree with me.
Now in this thread im going to discuss, the matchups, the loot bonuses, and the way the awards are distributed… i think we will go in that order
The matchups
- a lot of controversy revolves around this topic many people complain about how “unfair “ the matchups are, but i think that the way the matchups are derived could not be better, so kudos on that one SC i cant think of any better way.
- in case you didnt know, matchups are derived from the number and level of defenses in a clan, yes it is easy to manipulate, but not as easily manipulable as a different way
The loot bonuses
- yes yes, i know that they just had a large buff, but it still isn’t enough
- take this for example: lets say im an upper th8, im in a clan wars and i want my clan to win so i can get a great loot bonus, to help insure our win, im going to give everyone in my clan 2 level five wizards, but some people of my fifty person clan are full, so realistically, i donate about 80 at 3500 a piece that equates to 280,000 now it is battle day, i use an arm that costs 170,00 and i attack numbers 5 and 8 my loot bonus is around 525,000 ( i say around, because not every situation is the same) but my expenditures total to 620,000 so infact, i lost elixir, so i didnt even turn a profit.
- this is why a buff is needed, i'm not saying a lage ne, just large enough so that a profit becomes possible
- remember im assuming that we won this clan wars, a loss after commitment like this is devastating.
The award distribution
- So correct me if im wrong, but you get a quarter of your loot bonus for a loss correct? i think is should be larger, possibly one half, this is not definitely needed, but would be nice.
- this is needed sorely, so i two star a guy, who has a possible town hall snipe, i get his town hall, and 75% correct? now another guy lower player, comes along and snipes his town hall, not only is that a waste of an attack, but the other person actually gets the loot bonus as well, even worse, i cant kick him out because he is my leader (this actually happened to me) so what i suggest, to discourage th sniping in clan wars, and to more firmly establish clan wars rules, is that once a base has been successfully attacked, you must have a better score to get the loot bonus. NOTE: if you have attacked the base first, and someone gets a score better than yours, you still keep the loot bonus, as you attacked the base first. but this would discourage th sniping in clan wars and would prevent the waste of an attack.
These are just a few of my ideas that i would like to see implemented, thanks again supercell!!
