    Different kind of 'win'?

I doubt this is doable, but throwing this idea out there anyway and seeing if it sticks.

Many people, not battling a clan war, usually are attacking for loot. If they get most of the loot, they think of it as a win, despite what the Star/Trophy system says otherwise. Many people just go for one star wins while raiding for loot to keep themselves at roughly the same trophy count.

So I was thinking, somehow, even if it doesn't do much, have a new win criteria related to percentage of loot. Or it factors in some way the percentage of loot from storages, since I know many people look for easy resource-fat abandoned bases with full mines and collectors.

With a new win criteria for another kind of win, it would give a new kind of bragging right to show off, or to work for. It is more accurate to what players are doing in regular gameplay than what the star/trophy currently does.

    Ideas, comments?

I agree with you that I doubt it will happen. But I like it and think you raised good points.

Would be nice to have some kind of stat relating to it. If we measured wins on the percentage of how much you looted, vs how much was possible, you'd get some rather different scores in comparison to attacks that don't wreck the whole base.

Maybe show both? Traditional 3star system, and the Loot win % score, or it's own star score system? Or maybe based on army cost vs loot gained, with a better cost to gain ratio also factors in?

I like the idea but I doubt SC would go for it. I could be wrong, but I think they want to keep the scoring system simple. If you give people too many things to compare, you give them more things to be negative about, not just brag. I agree with you, but SC seems focused on not having any info displayed which could result in anything negative. I don't like it, but that's the way they want it I think. It's the same reason they won't ever display war losses. People can brag about 37 wins, but when you see they've lost 100 wars also, they consider that a negative.

Loot wins would have to be simple as well, or it wouldn't work, like having it's own star rating or something.

I admit, they do limit info for the sake of maintaining gameplay fun, which I'm impressed with, since that takes some forethought in human psychology to come to that. I see many things that are limited for the sake of keeping players from hurting themselves or others, and never have seen any one design a game like that before, and done in a way that isn't immediately obvious to people.
