This means you attacked him first, giving him the opportunity to revenge you back. It does not loop, thus meaning you cannot re-revenge him.

Pay attention. One one person can revenge. Once the revenge is used, the person you revenge cannot revenge you.

You attacked someone. They revenged you. The end. You cannot revenge and revenge.
