So initial idea... just getting stuff down in writing firstly...
I'm thinking similar type graphics to the witches ability of summoning skeletons, but the Resurrector would summon units that have actually died in the current battle.
Each upgrade level would enable a higher troop space count to be resurrected, similar to the clan castle...
So example, level 1 Resurrector would have a space of 10 or 15, and randomly resurrects any dead troop from current battle, to the value... so maybe 10 or 15 archers, or barbs, or goblins, or wiz, wb etc etc... or any combo.
Level 2 would be perhaps 20 spaces... so a dragon could be revived, or 20 archers, combo etc....
You would not be able to select the revived troops, so wouldn't get an advantage of having an extra dragon or whatever, but the resurrection would be random and fill up to the upgraded space level.
Hopefully this makes sense.
Initial thoughts...
Name: Resurrector
Type: Ground unit.
HP: Not really important - similar to witch
Damage: As above.
Ability: Resurrection (automatic - as witch) - only resurects troops to the value of the upgraded level once, does not keep bringing them back over and over.
Cost: 300 DE
Upgrade Cost: Lvl 2 = 10k DE, Lvl 3 = 15k DE etc.
