Heres a scenario from someone that doesn't hide in the low leagues where lightning is abundant.
I get sniped 19 out of 20 times. I lost loot 3 times in the last 60 attacks. Once i was zapped for 400de. Twice i was full raided for 2000 each. Yea, I'll take a zap any day of the week.
I rarely get sniped. I get full raided more often than i get zapped. I routinely hold 40-100k + and yet i still don't get zapped.
You're doing something wrong.
And this is on both of my accounts. TH9 is what i described above. My TH8 also doesn't get zapped. I just recently took it from Gold 2 where i was getting raided constantly to crystal 3 where im just getting sniped. Weird.

Im a nearly maxed out th9 that's been in crystal most of the time for months, I would go higher if there was loot up there. I ain't doing anything wrong but when I get lightning r a p e d I lose 1200+ dark not a measly 400!
i don't mind losing it to honest attacks but lightning is just plain lazy! I didn't do it to get where I am and I don't think others should. I do get sniped 99 % of the time which frankly gets old sometimes but that's my choice, but when they then drop the lightning that village is getting smashed when I find them online!
Just so im clear.....when you use your maxed out th9 troops to take DE from weaker players that's hard earned, when someone zaps you for that same loot they need to be stopped?
Are they zapping you first or is it a case of those you overwhelmed by playing down league just getting sweet revenge?
because that's what I'd do...... Just sayin

So you'd rather lose more in a regular raid then less in a zap? And you are able to smash them in revenge?
you dropped to lower league to find loot from lower players.... And you wonder why they zap you?
Show us your base, with current trophy count, let's see where the problem is.

How can you get zapped at crystal? I don't see a lot of zapping there.
