Reduce the barrack boosting time to 1h

    Hey,

It would be really nice to see a 1h boosting option for the barracks. (5gems obviously)

    Why?

Players could adjust their playing and raiding time much easier and become way more flexible which would without a doubt raise the use of gems.
Some people might complain now by saying that"It has already been reduced" "why boost if you don't have time" "...", but let me tell you that ot everybody has the time to sit there for 2hours straight. Some people have jobs, a family to take care of, other stuff to do, but they maybe they still want to enjoy the game sometimes.
Don't forget that this is a cellphone/tablet game and not a GameBoy, it's a huge difference!
I for myself have often one hour to spare where I would really like to boost and farm like crazy but I don't want to waste 50% of the used gems just because I can't sit there for 2 hours.

You could even add a little tweak in the Options where players could choose between a 1h or a 2h boost for their gems so everyone would be happy.
There are no disadvantages for anyone by implementing this.

I know that this game attracts a lot of young people (see global ) but you should not forget nor neglect the older players.

    Thank you for your time.

    I completely agree with you!
I have this problem too! Some times when I start boosting my barracks some thing unexpected will happen and I have to leave the game, For example my friends call or my family wants me to do some thing and ...
I'm sure if this happen people will use more gems!
Also I have a suggestion if you think this change will reduce using of gems, you can provide pause button exactly like when it happens in maintenance! Just for one time!

    thanks

I dont think this should be implemented since some players will have to keep boosting and boosting.

    This is a superidea!
In the evening, just before sleeping, I always doubt if I should boost or not, as I will not play for two hours.
Usually I don't, so I guess this could really bring in some money for SC!
Please implement as well for heroes and spellfactory

    pretty decent

it won't affect the boosting cost, as 2hours = 10 gems

    1 hour = 5 gems

looks more appealing, and might boost gem usage

more gem usage may mean more sales
maxed out TH9, minus the heroes
    kinda quit, Lurker mode: on

I was always a fan of shorter boosts, but not the 25 gem price lol, the 1 gem for 45 min was nice, I think a current 5 gems for 1hr would be amazing, if you need 2hrs, boost it twice and it would be like it is now.

I know I would spend more gems boosting, has i have 1hr in the morning, that's 10 gems a morning, that wouldn't be getting spent now

Thumbs Up Barrack boosting for one hour

I completely agree with this idea. I don't know why someone objected, if they want two hour boosting they can just do it again. Two hours is too long to play non stop sometimes when we are busy. One hour would be perfect...

Well the only problem here is a psychological one.

Sure the math works out, but when someone boosts for two hours, they are more likely to stay online longer than those that boost for one hour. And because most players don't like to stay online for two hours, there is a lot of gems used for no reason which increases the demand for gems - leading to more ppl buying gems.

The only question now is to get statistical evidence that 1 hour boosts would make more money for supercell and this will be implemented.
Logic is cold ............... Embrace it.

But the 2 hour boost makes people more hesitant to boost barracks so with one hour more people would boost.

The only thing I dont like about this is that it would be similar to christmas event: many more people would start boosting, causing a shortage of bases.

Of course I'd like to see it but I don't know if there are enough queued bases to keep it balanced.
