Add your fellow coleaders to Google Hangouts or use some other app.
Otherwise, talk in the clan chat itself. Transparency is good.

    Its a good idea....

Its like a Leadership team meeting.

Sometimes is good to be transparent, but also at times we need to discuss a certain sensitive issue. Example who to kick, who needs to improve, who to promote. etc etc. Just like at work place.

Using other chat apps, is tough for international clans, and for people who doesn't want to mix game friends with real life friends....

    we should push this ...

Exactly sensitive issues could be handled more easily and we wouldn't have to worry about censorship in the clan chat... The steps could be taken to improve each individual clan without starting drama within the clan I really think we should push this

I don't think you should need to use an external app/service to communicate with other authoritative members in your clan. And talking in clan chat isn't always doable. For example, if you were discussing on whether or not to let a player in to the clan. If you were against a player joining, but he/she was allowed anyway, puts you in a rather awkward position. There's also when you want to discuss with the other members of rank whether or not to kick someone; it can be a sensitive topic, one you don't want to discuss in front of the player in question.

Also, not many will be willing to share their contact information with people of the clan, and nobody wants to deal with another account to keep track of.

I think the utility is there and that it could be helpful.

Whatsapp, GroupMe, any other number of forums and chat sites. You can set up seperate accounts if you are worried about privacy.

As I said above, I don't think it should be necessary to use other services to talk to someone you may know exclusively through clash, and separate accounts are annoying. This is especially true on mobile.
