Idea Concept: When you finish attacking a base you get a multiplier that is based on how many troops survive.
Formula:
MultiplierXLeagueBonus= Your reward
Details:
-Multiplier kicks in only when you have 3 started that base(no exceptions)
-Multiplier is added for every 5 troops that survive. Adding their assigned multiplier you add.
i.e. Barbarians=1.1 multiplier. If 10 survive that equals 2.2 of a multiplier to your league bonus.
-Your multiplier lessens or stops kicking after attacking so low. i.e. When you are TH8 attacking TH5. It will be assumed that you will recieve no multiplier 3 levels below you.
Example: You attack a base. You are TH8. They are TH8. You attack with Barbarians, Archers and Giants.
Depending on your league, you times that bonus by the multiplier. You are in Silver Division 1,meaning your league bonus is 4,000 of both Gold and Elixir
Barbarians=1.1 multiplier
Archers=1.1 multiplier
Giants=1.3 multiplier
Reminder:You add a multiplier for every 5 that survive.
6 Barbarians, 11 Archers and 5 Giants have survived that attack that you just 3 starred.
meaning the multiplier is
1.1+1.1(2)+1.3=4.6
League bonus-4,000
4.6x4,000=18,400
you just gained 18,400 both of Elixir and Gold for 3 starring that base.
My concerns:
-I am not a big number cruncher so I did not give each unit it's own assigned Multplier amount. However, I feel the multiplier should raise according to housing space.
-I am also worried about TH lvls and how they come in to play with the multiplier.
I mentioned that at some point the multiplier would not kick in after you attack so low. But also mentioned another way, the multiplier lessening as you attack lower. As far as that goes ,I do not know how much lower.
- I am also worried about if the formula suits Dark Elixir.
I was unsure of this idea so it's ok if you nitpick. My hope is that someone improves upon this idea and tweaks it so it may be viable to implement so I do understand that this is incomplete and it most definitely not concrete.
i was not sure of this idea to begin with I was just getting out there with this thread is all.
My reasons to implement this idea:
So that it gives a reward to have surviving troops at the end of your attack. To also give incentive for 3 starring a base.
Addtional Food For Thought:
I have been thinking about how to retain the multiplier without using troops as a way for the game to calculate the Multplier. I will be honest and say I was thinking of an easy thing for me to calculate like "surviving troops" to introduce a multiplier into the game. However I want to introduce something else but without calculations because I have no idea how to go about calculating it.
what if instead of surviving troops being the factor, how about the time you have left after you have attacked a base being the thing is accounted for when you get that multiplier.
Basically, the faster you 3 star and destroy a base the more of a multiplier you gain.
I found this to be a better idea instead because many people have mentioned rewarding the player for "overkill" isn't what you want.
So just food for thought, a multiplier that multiplies your league bonus based on how fast you were(or how much time you had left, however you want to look at it)
