I love this idea, but perhaps you could reduce the damage and speed up the missile's velocity.
10 seconds seems a bit long.
Also you could add two settings:
-Splash (reduce damage exponentially, decrease range, and and slower missiles) -targets tier 1 & 2 only
-Single targeting (high damage, increased range, and faster missiles) -also only targets golem or hound

what are you smoking dude
1) 800 damage to 4000 health troops minimum literally is like cutting 5 bllades of grass on a lawn
2) it takes 10 seconds to load
3) Buttermink...is awesome.
Buttermink, i like your concept but i want to add a few spins to it.
1)buff dps to around 250
2) nerf attack speed to 4 sec
3) make the 1000 damage on contact
4) it will always target golem or hound
5) splash recoil is around 30 dps
6) splash recoil is also 4 sec
7) nerf health to around 650
8) make the range smaller, air only: tiles 4-8, ground only tiles: 3-7
9) make it a ground only and air only not a ground+air option
10) reloads in gold
