Just pick a better name when you start. It's not the fault of SC that you don't like your name. However, I guess a paid option wouldn't be that bad. Maybe a one time only thing.

Imagine kicking someone from clan and having them change name. Change base then rejoin.

You know what...very good point. Perhaps making it a one time only thing would help with that problem though. Wouldn't really be worth it to use it up just for what you described. That's a big downside.

Keep talking about it, I took over my 12 year old daughter 's account/base, as a 47 year old male with a handle of LILY2001 isn't the best , one chance to change a name would be great, KEEP TALKING ABOUT IT!!....

You shouldn't have taken her account.....

Aside from that I believe that paying to change your name with an exponential cost (1 time, 500 gems, 2nd time, 250000 gems, 3rd time, 125000000 gems (laughable but if you are desperate...)) would work best instead a one timer.

Talking about it won't change the fact that it's ruled out... If you took the notion you could probably find 100's of threads and post about changing names. If all those other threads didn't work, I don't think this one will either, that why it's on the ruled out list. At the end of the day SC just doesn't want to let us change names... LILY2001 is a fine name...... Certainly not the worse I've seen.....


Oh, and don't take over someone else's base, start your own....

Meet this guy in global, his name was "horsediq.mpeg" lol. We laughed about it for awhile then he was like "yea... Turns out you can't change your name".

And that was the day I almost broke my ribs from laughing too much. Lilly isn't too bad haha.
