    Lightbulb improve clans leadership

I have grab this idea from many clashers, improve clans leaders control like these:
1.leaders could be select who be on clan war or who not be.
2.Leaders could see who's are online on clan(like an small green dot near names)
3.leaders could send clan mails much more faster than co leaders.
4.leaders should be able to send private message to members(like guide members for their attacks)
5.leaders could select bests clans members of each season.

And much more you think comment it ❤

    Agreed

I am a leader as well. All these ideas would make a huge difference in clan leadership. I would also add a way to open clan chat for leaders and co leaders only. It would help make decisions about drops and promotions easI er and secret.

I agree completely with this. As a leader this would be very handy

2.Leaders could see who's are online on clan(like an small green dot near names) Ruled out, privacy issues
3.leaders could send clan mails much more faster than co leaders Leaders and co's should have close to equal powers. IE the leader's on vacation the co can act for him.
4.leaders should be able to send private message to members(like guide members for their attacks Honestly, I'd rather see a Co/Elder/Member chat, but with leader/co accessing them all, elders should not see member chat.
5.leaders could select bests or worsts clans members The clans would become frustrated over this as leaders could have a "favorite" announced to the whole clan, Vice Versa for worst.

And much more you think comment it ❤
    Hope you understand my reasoning

2.Leaders could see who's are online on clan(like an small green dot near names) Can't, privacy issues
3.leaders could send clan mails much more faster than co leaders. I think both should just be able to send them faster than the current 12 hours. Same speed for both
4.leaders should be able to send private message to members(like guide members for their attacks) I would not mind this but I think I saw it ruled out before.
5.leaders could select bests or worsts clans members. This would be disruptive. Especially the naming of worst. Also it can be argued that 'worst' is a 'negative statistic or indicator flag' which would make it against SC policy too.

    How it should work...

There should be a button (it can be a new one or the war shield can be modified) that toggles a player as in or out.

Access to hit the button to toggle should go to the leader and the player in question.
---- individual players cannot opt each other in or out
---- its an argument either way to give it to co as well - Good for clans where co is a management job, bad for clans that give it out like candy. (I consider the latter to be a sign of a bad leader)
---- A leader who abuses authority to opt guys in against their wishes are really just hurting their own selves for how they are adding a risk to their war participation. (the guy might then just not attack anyhow, if not seeing eye to eye with leader he wont care)
---- A leader opting a guy out against his wishes has that prerogative to decide who he wants in his war. And its still nicer than just kicking the guy like happens now.

The status of a player is only a factor right at the time a war starts. Instead of just selecting all eligible players from the total population it will just be all eligible players from the opted in group.
---- Can even implement by leveraging the existing eligibility functionality that currently is only driven by a timer.

After that everything works the same. The list of warriors from the clan is rounded to an even 5 via the existing logic and then the matchmaking calculation takes place also using the existing logic.

A player joins a clan with his eligibility set the same way it is today. (He is in unless there is a timer)

Things that would not happen -
...A player cannot add themselves to a war after the fact. If they change their status during a war it makes no difference until the next war when that status is read at startup.
...This would not serve as a way to replace members that take off during war. if they do that then there is the same affect on the war as there is today. Unused attacks stay unused. (it will never change that this just stinks when guys pull that stunt)

As good as this idea is it can backfire so bad, if being a leader would be this good, who would want to be a co, elder or even a member? Everyone would just make their own clan. making recruitment that much more difficult

How so? What's wrong with being co or elder? (I speak from a clan where they are neither door prizes or presents for friends but rather real jobs guys get hired for)

Also, I am not clear which of the several ideas you are referring to, or do you mean all of them?

Hmm, I dont know about you, but I would rather not be the leader. Theres too much responsibility and messing up would be serious. Plus, I dont see whats wrong with being a co as its basically the same thing as leader or an elder which is a pretty powerful position as it is.
