For last year's Christmas update we were given a temporary trap: the Santa surprise. When attacking troops walked over it, Santa flew on his sleigh above them and dropped presents which dealt damage. The defender could later tap on them to get elixir. However, some people decided to move the trap around to get presents all around their base, and that's what you see in the picture.
That's a bit harsh... He probably wasn't playing the game this time last year. That doesn't make him a troll.
