Upgrading wall ( 50% from elxir, 50% from gold )

I think it is better for the clashers to give them the options to upgrade the wall by (elexir, gold, or both of them at the same time by dividing the cost).

upgrading wall lvl 9+ is not cheap and i wish i can upgrade my wall by dividing the cost between gold/elexir at the same time, for example i can upgrade wall lvl 9 ( 500K elexir and 500K gold ) and make real balance between my resources.

    regards;

would this not fall directly in line with currency conversion?
walls cost either gold or elixir after level 9
but being able to use both for one wall, you are converting whatever resource you are short in to the other to buy the wall.

I didn't think it would be possible to create a scenario where resource dumping could exist at L9 walls and higher, but I was wrong.

This would definitely lead to resource dumping and would be crippling to the economy at higher levels.

    Absolutely not.

not necessary. suppose you have 3M gold, 3M elixir ( instead of run out of one of them by upgarding the wall lvl 10, you can divide the cost ( 1.5 M gold, 1.5 Elexir ) ,

it is a basic example, no need to dissucs the example, I discuss the idea only

would u plz define (resource dumping) so that we can agree or disagree on the terminology ?!

before we had only one option (gold) and then we have had the two options and i dont see any harm to add third option.

resource dumping is basically after raiding and spending your resources on upgrades, dumping whatever is left into walls so that when you log off your storages are nearly empty, resulting in less loot available to be raided

Yes, I see where you're coming from, but it's a cost you have to be willing to pay for such an expensive thing. And I would bet that in that particular scenario, all 6M loot would be dumped into 2 walls anyway, so the end result would be the same.

To me, all this idea is is a more efficient method of putting every possible drop of resources into walls. Oh no, I only have 600K each, I can't upgrade a wall to L9! But wait! With this idea, I can! As well as make my base less appealing!

to certain degree you are right if the player max out his defenses/troops,

but not all the players will dump the resurces into walls especially those who have just started in new Th ( they have a lot of troops/defense to upgrade ) . if you see the positive side of the idea, the players will max out the walls quicker than before and this is good for the game itself and the players.

    thanx for your comment.

Maxing out walls quicker isn't good for the game, then they have a bunch of people with nothing to play for. Plus they have less loot available because they can dump smaller amounts.

It would marginally decrease time to get walls upgraded and it would greatly decrease loot available because they can dump resources with half as much in their banks.

    Dear clashers,

    I have come from Mars

    plz be open minded.

i upgraded most of my wall lvl9 by gold only , so i dont have a problem upgrading walls by gold only. SC has given us second option, and a third option will make true balance between the resources.
