Th10 here. Did all legos and some lavas at th9.
My advice would be to work on those heroes as much as possible before going to th10, at least get them to lv20. Do whatever amount of lavas you can in the process.
I've found that farming in masters league will get you more loot than you've ever gotten at any other th level but you certainly need high lv heroes up here.

Well the point I was trying to make is that you last comment in the OP was a troll comment meant to start drama. You could of easily said that "I'm a casual gamer and don't spend that much time playing a day."
Instead you decided to stick your nose up and look down on people who want to keep Supercell in business by purchasing gems becuase they made a really good game. You were fine until you said people who boost barracks are not playing legit. I didn't take it personally, just want to let you know nobody cares if you spent 0 dollars or 10,000 on the game.
Just going forward it's people who spend money on the game that allows you to continue to play legit becuase if people stop buying gems you will start seeing pay walls.l tomorrow.
PS.... I don't want to give you the impression that I'm a computer geek, in my mom's basement, with 10 computer monitors playing this game 20 hours a day. They invented this thing in the 20th century called "Multi-tasking." I have a Galaxy Tablet. I can Play Clash, watch tv, clean my house, eat, etc.... at the same time. If I'm at home watching a Netflix movie or football game why not boost barracks.
reasons I can think of:
1) loot is awesome for TH9.
2) raiding is easy and fun for TH9s. (wreck TH8 using farming troops)
3) Game has been changed. TH8 have 2 DE drills and excessive elixir now. and lvl 12 collectors.
yeah, definitely should do lavas.
Because high level heroes help immensely in attacks, you moron. But once you start upgrading them, you can kiss them goodbye for half a year atleast. Unless you gem the build time.

About to finish my legoes... currently have 5 left. Then going to see how the lvl 10 wall journey goes.
I'm currently maxed th9 working on Lvl 10 walls. I have 48 right now. I would recommend doing them until you get bored. Upgrade heros while you do walls with the dark you get but don't worry about maxing them dark just gets easier at th10 unlike elixir and gold. At least Lvl 20 heros would be good before you upped townhall though
