The game is less mobile and has been increasingly worse for anyone without money enough to play this from a tablet for awhile. It's been a steady increase to needing more and more skill. This isn't a conspiracy though it's because clan wars doesn't make sense without adding true challenge to the game. It seems a risky move as it appears many of the players played this game because it was easy and now they are making it hard. Changing troop mechanics probably loses them customers everytime they do it also, or it seems like it would... But it's not our bottom line and I like that it takes skill so I couldn't careless. It's clash it's not a true game of skill until they remove the random element so try to have fun without taking it so seriously.
My advice is upgrade all troops if you love war..
