[QUOTE=Scuba061;3467860]I'm not following. Where are these Danishes served? Is it some buffet where it's grab and go? In that case it's fair game because it's in a communal area. There is no individual designation assigned to each danish.

Or are you referring to them being placed in each persons room? If so, each danish is being personally assigned to each person. Just because my door is unlocked doesn't mean you can waltz in and take my danish. I could have been saving it for later or maybe I was going to give it to someone else. It's my danish and I decide what twith it.[/QUOTE

My point is that it is nitot your danish...not until you eat it.

Ok, so we're back to the bartender analogy. You are saying it's not my beer until I've drank it? Anyone can just come up and take it from me even though it was given to me?

    That's anarchy.

But it is earmarked for him. Its essentially got his name on it.

Gold and elixir are essentially communal resources until they're spent, whoever wants them can take them and use them. Gems are not like that, I don't care where they are
Cloud Control - Why are clouds so terrible, and what are the possible ways to get rid of them?

No it's not. There's clearly defined rules as to what you can and can't do. Raiding does not mean anarchy.

Nothing about this game is earmarked. If that were the case the elixir in my pump is earmarked for me and should not be touched. I get that gems that are bought and in your bank are not up for grabs because they are premium currency, but for the obstacles that yield gems, I see no reason why they can't be opened raid.

Gems are gems. Doesn't matter where they are. They are earmarked for me because they were placed in MY base by Supercell. Elixir pumps are something you buy and upgrade yourself. It's not a gift and its your responsibility to protect and collect.

Money in my bank earned from work is no different than money given as a gift. Gems are money.

Scuba and tiler, I respect and understand what you're saying. I just don't agree that gems hidden in boxes or trees are anyone's but supercell's until they are claimed.

With that I say good day to you gents, its been a spirited debate. Til next time.

    Regards

Lol we literally turned an idea into an 8 page discussion about why or why not gem farming shouldn't be a thing....

It won't be...And with that, and one side leaving the thread, Its the end of discussion
