lavaloonion is strong against other TH9s, but still not as OP as a TH7 3-starring another max TH7 with mass dragons (after zapping 1 AD down). So wouldn't SC do something about that first before turning to the hounds...

To weaken or make less dangerous. Taken from the "Nerf" brand name, which makes sports equipment toys out of a soft foam (e.g., the Nerf football is soft foam rather than the hard leather of a real football). Used frequently in the context of computer game balance changes. "The chaingun was awesome til they nerfed it, now you can't hit ♥♥♥♥ with it."

Those that say that are probably farmers. Hounds are not practical for farming.

Clan Wars & Trophy hunting though, different story.

I am farming so haven't levelled mine up, but have seen videos of them in action. They are deadly if used properly.

Future nerfs may well be on the cards.

Nerf is a term used for almost every game. It's when the developers "make it worse". It's origins come from the NERF GUN. You know, that toy gun you used to play with as a kid.

It's a reference to it because its basically comparing the effectiveness of a Nerf gun to a real gun. When you say "it got Nerfed", think about a 9mm Pistol turning into a Nerf gun.
