This illustrates how the game can be so different for so many people.

I am an upper level TH8 who has mainly elixir upgrades left and I am having a heck of a time finding any. I have been searching from Silver III to Gold I.

Gold has been no problem, but elixir is scarce.

No that's incorrect. It's just like it was before the elixir for walls update when people were dying to use elixir for something. It put more demand on gold which there always was before. Seems imbalanced to me to have an almost useless resource but at least people can afford troops. Of course my solution would be to ... oh I don't know ... make more resources produced? Icegag said it best if you want to search for his posts

Downhill? So when Did you consider the game "uphill"? Because there was only a 2 month window where TH7s and TH8s could dump elixir in to walls. Before that the loot was exactly the same as it is now, except the max collector level was 11, TH7s had no DE drills, and TH8s had one. So When exactly was this time when the loot was so much better then it is now?

Why are you getting to hyper bro. lol. You must be th10 so you don't realize it. Many midlevel players are leaving the game because the game is becoming unenjoyable. The elixir wall update was a great feature which was introduced. It encouraged the interests of midlevels and meanwhile didn't put too much pressure on them. Upgrading the walls is the biggest pain. And don't say we had to go through the same thing. Just because u had to go through it. doesn't make is right.

It may have benefited you as an individual, however, it was hurting the game economy as a whole.

the economy of the game doesn't just revolve around high level players. If go on on youtube and read the comment you will learn how players from all levels are reacting to the update. The forums are filled with mostly high levels.

I would disagree. I'd say the pushing back of inactives hurt the economy. At least when they were abundant farming was easy for many filling their storages and people who wanted to raid storages did that. It was win win.

If you have no gold and too much elixir stop trying to find the collector raids with barch and design a powerful army that can actually hit storages. (Hint more powerful armies use more elixir) this gives a use for elixir and makes you able to steal gold.

High level players are more important becuase the low players will soon be high level, the game isn't in a linear realtionship, there is a huge curve in the amount of time neede per th level.
