Does anyone else experience long streaks where your heroes cannot be denied the TH to long streaks where they jump all around it and over it and (my favorite) the queen's arrows fly through the TH itself to attack a storage behind it?
I have read some speculation on other sites that the game alters heroes' affinity/desire for the TH to incrementally increase or decrease the challenge. This is why you gain and lose trophies in bunches. The optimist would say this is a good thing, as increased challenge makes accomplishment that much sweeter. Conversely, the cynic would say it makes the game much more addictive/profitable as then it has the feel of blackjack or a slot machine--if you have ever gemmed you know the extreme desire to "show them who is boss" by rage gemming your heroes after they get denied a TH in a war match. I read an analysis someone did (can't find it now) where he claimed to have proof. I can offer no proof except for 10,000 raids won and (I think) a pretty good ability to "feel" differences in troops' behavior. Not suggesting it's a massive alteration, but a slight nudge is all it takes when you are cup hunting at the highest levels or warring against max level bases.
Anyone else? Or do you think every single match goes off according to the same exact pathing principles every time?
My clan mates replays show that once they drop their heroes on an exposed townhall it always goes for it. I think you are just really lucky that your heroes ignore the exposed townhall and go for storages.
