That is assuming everyone is inactive and not farm. Which is not true.

where's the fun in acquiring things too easy?
    people have different playstyles

not all players are forumers, but I'm pretty sure that majority of forumers, in any game, are gamers (not casuals)

I love the grind, some other people don't (especially casuals)

    (filthy, filthy casuals)

You haven't explained anything yet. You said you are teaching them a lesson. Then you said there exists a moral dilemma. Now you say that moral is a metaphor...for what?

    You're not making any sense.

When you say "the grind" do you mean nexting a bunch of times? Or do you mean the challenge in downing other's base?

Generally speaking, i consider 95% of all coc players are farmers... I mean... We are all trying to find resources to upgrade structures right?

Teaching them a lesson for leaving their TH outside.

As for the latter part you didn't understand, am not here to school you.
The dilemma has been elaborated just enough.

in CoC terms, it's kinda hard to really explain...
since there are no items or such, just resources

I can't explain it, but it's like playing a Korean MMORPG, and getting a rare item, or leveling after 2 weeks of grinding (btw, I'm specifically talking about RF online)

The games I grew up with are hardcore grinding by end-game (since Korean MMORPGs are Grind-Driven)
I also Played MHFOnline a lot (if you played any of the 'Monster Hunter' games you'd know that this game is very grindy)

The feeling I get from CoC is the same feeling I get when I'm playing NIS games (Nippon Icchi Software), they're games that are pretty much all tactics(genre), and tactic games are pretty much a grindfest if you're going for 100% completion

like I said, people have different playstyles / tastes

there are millions of players playing CoC, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one like with this mindset :/

Dont know what lesson you would give.

I've seen a guy with TH inside but getting DE zapped 36 times (36 lightening spells used) in 6 hours. Is you lesson gonna top this?
