Why should you max your town hall

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE POST!!! I WANT TO HELP THE COMMUNITY!!!!!
So I have 2 accounts which I'm comparing in this thread to clear up everything regarding whether or not you SHOULD or SHOULD NOT max your town hall, my max TH8: http://s3.postimg.org/7vc3trrkj/TH8.jpg

NOW I'M NOT SAYING GO TO TOWN HALL 10 WITH LEVEL 1 TROOPS!!! I AM SAYING AS SOON AS YOUR FARMING TROOPS AND WAR TROOPS ARE MAXED YOU SHOULD UPGRADE THAT TH!!!! UNTILL TH9!!! that's where I recommend you max out your base because a max TH9 is hard to 3 star

so to the point. I have come to the conclusion, based on experience and results that upgrading your town hall as soon as you max your war troops and farming troops is the best and fastest way to play this game untill you reach town hall 9, here are some of the things people complaing about and say is bad about rushing:

Loot penalties- if you max your farming troops at the previous town hall (in my case barch) you'll have the exact same farming potential as if you had maxed your whole lab, farming wise, you can still raid 1 town hall below you because you have max farming troops from that town hall, the loot penalty is -10% loot for 1 town hall below, and -50% for 2 town halls below, so if it's a problem to you then the people you are raiding are too low for what you should be attacking

defense- defense wise in the video I proved that a 100% maxed out TH8 is weaker than a TH9 with lv6 walls and max TH7 defenses, even though the TH9 had 2 mortars upgrading during all the defenses the defense log on the TH9 with a similar layout in the same league (crystal 3) looked WAAAAY better than the log of the fully maxed out TH8, here are some screenshots of the TH8 defense log from when I put TH inside:

so as you can see the TH9 base holds up ALOT better, in war defenses too the TH8 has been 3 starred more often than the TH9 while in the same clan, so war defense is better too for the TH9, here is my attack log on the TH9 also just to show that loot penalties are no issue:

SOOOOOOO based on everything both my accounts show me rushing your town hall as soon as your war troops are maxed and your farming troops are maxed is best, for both defense and attack, it will help you grow faster and farm better, and it makes it easier to keep your lab/builders busy so at the end of the day you'll be a maxed TH10 a lot faster than if you maxed out all your town halls... happy clashing

You're essentially trying to sell me that you can make more loot per hour at TH10 because of better troops, thereby offsetting the penalty and the nexting costs.

There is absolutely no way this is true. What your anecdotal evidence suggests, is that you aren't very good at farming using weaker troops.

Getting three starred should be irrelevant because the loot loss from a three star at TH7 is basically one raid's worth of loot which is about 15 minutes of play time.

The small sample size of your war log does not show what is reality. If you rush you are a sitting duck for 3 stars by a TH9. For you to gain any stars for your own clan you will have to drop down into the TH8's taking attacks from your clan mates.

I do say multiple times that stronger town hall levels allow you stronger troops which in turn can allow you to raid stronger bases, which potentially offer higher loot meaning you can get more loot off that base, while if a weaker lower town hall found it they would not be able to get all of the loot, how well you farm still relies on the luck of pressing next and how well you use your troops, this is no way some miracle technique to earn super loot, just that I found that you progress through the game much faster this way untill you get to town hall 9

I maxed my loons first once I hit TH9, and what you are saying is kinda the same as if someone where a fresh TH9 from maxed TH8 because if they maxed war troops, and farming troops they'd be using the same troops as if they did what I did, but I did max my loons first after hitting TH9s and have no problems picking up 2 or 3 stars on fairly upgraded Th9s, also my rushed TH9 resists being 3 starred a lot better than my maxed TH8 does, defensively the TH9 is doing by FAR better than the TH8, I'm not saying rush hard core here don't get me wrong, I am looking from both sides since I see from a maxed and a rushed perspective at the same time, rushing TO A CERTAIN EXTENT after maxing war/farming troops looks like the best and most efficient way to progress as fast as possible

But this isn't true. You have to send those stronger troops against stronger defenses. Defenses greatly outpace weak troops in effectiveness.

You're much better off raiding collectors of weaker bases using handfuls of smaller troops in rapid succession. Lower level bases do not have the defenses and walls to adequately guard collectors, yet they have nearly as many (6 vs 7) and max out almost as quickly (TH8).

Your assumption that higher TH means higher loot is false.

Our clan have TH6s-Th10s. And the best loot are from TH7-TH8. Which mean the optimal TH to get those is TH8. You simply collect gold faster as a TH8.

The fact that you can defend better at TH9 is irrelevant, because if you farm a lot and you send your loot as soon as possible, you won't be farmed that much.

I too rushed TH9 on my main account, so I won't say there is some gain in doing so. But I've been destroyed more than once while upgrading my xbows and everything. I didn't hide in the 1300 range either.

If it was based on defense, you should be TH10 with level 1 infernos at 1300 trophies. Just too bad there isn't anything to farm there for you.

you are agreeing with me but saying you are not lol, since you get the stronger troops you are able to raid the stronger bases for more loot, while if you have weaker troops at lower TH level, you don't have the firepower to take on stronger bases at all, since loot penalty allows you to comfortably farm 1 TH below you, you can still hit the weaker bases too, the only thing you lose is the ability to raid TH7s which hardly ever offer any loot, if you don't rush past town hall 9 which I HIGHLY recommend maxing out because it's the TH level where the system of rushing stops working, because TH10 does need you to raid very strong bases which are strong and hard to farm even with stronger troops, at TH9 I can easily 3 star a maxed TH8 if I farm with a quick and cheap loon or giant army for a nice 250k + loot, and good DE farming maxed TH9 or relatively decent TH10 bases with infernos aren't too hard to get the DE from with maxed loons
