Therefore, is it possible that most of these inactive bases are effectively hidden most of the time due to people doing 50% raids on their bases effectively removing them from the queue of raidable villages? This would explain the "hidden" or "removed" inactive villages that seem to be ever so elusive.

    Thoughts?

TL;DR - People 50% inactive bases while doing collector raids effectively removing or hiding them from regular play.

There's a few things about this

    1) you need to give the collectors time to refill. They get shielded at 40% . If bases do not get shielded then there's less and less resources in them to raid. They will start to appear in the 'nexting queue' and people will come on the forums and lament the end of the collector base. All hail shielding.

    2) there's a lot on the forums about farmers leaving their TH outside contributing to the loot issue. On the face of it, it appears quite sensible. However a base only needs to be attacked once to get a shield.

    3) according to your rules any base that has a shield is hidden. That means even trophy hunters are 'hidden' once they have been attacked.

I watch people raid me with 20 giants and use 3 spells, and that is fine, they have a chance at 600K, but how many nexts did they have to hit to find me.
I'm not going to be mean but I will say loot is amaz at th8. Max out your base and then go to th9. No its not horrible but its not the best.

Yes, this would contribute to less collector raids.

I don't follow. Do you mean farmers are far more likely to get shields because of their TH's being out, therefore (in theory) pushing out more inactive bases, possibly resulting in scenario #1?

I suppose it can't be that everyone who plays clash has impeccable timing to always miss people when their shields are down. That is the only way that this makes sense.

Guys, Supercell has stated here in the forums that they push inactive bases so far back in the matchmaking system that they'll pretty much never be seen again until the person logs in again.

you don't need any more conspiracy theories.

As for people putting th outside, I hate to break it to you but people have been doing this since the beginning and long before there were loot problems. Supercell wants people to use big armies for storage raids that'll make you more likely to spend gems to speed up cook times.

    That is all.
