Can I barch into Master?

Hi All

After our weekly war some of us th8-9 players want to try our luck and move up to master league, just to get gems and have some fun aside from everyday farming.

As a TH9 I have lvl6 barch, giants, loons, lvl11 BK, lvl8 AQ. Spells maxed, except for jump. I can play 1x2-3 hrs per day, that's all. Question is if I can simply just barch myself up to master III or will I have to use more complex armies (like loonion, gowipe) to get there? I have seen a few barch 50% win videos in master, I am wondering if those are just rarities or if it's actually possible.

You can reach master league with TH sniping, so the answer is YES
If it's a question of whether you want to get there fighting, then I's say your heroes are too low a level, it still is possible, but it'll really be a challenge. You'll have to experiment with the spells you take a long 4xlightning or a rage mixed in, and you'll have to be veeeeery patient when nexting. Reaching C1 shouldn't be difficult, but getting through C1 is when it'll get tough. In any case, definately worth a try. Good Luck !!

Yes, there are players who've barched into Champs even.

1. Familiarise yourself with Barching at gold league - ie. how many buildings you need to take out to get 50%.
2. Always ALWAYS bring double or quad lightning spells - mortars are your worst enemies.
3. Bring along your CC and heroes for just-in-case scenarios.
4. Test for giant bombs before deploying - wouldn't want half your squad to be roasted in instant would you?
5. Most importantly, pick the right bases. This is where most players fail at barch - where they tend to overestimate themselves into thinking that they can easily over-run the base.

I have tried barching into masters myself with several successes and failures, where failures get really frustrating - 48%-ish scores blows me off....
