And why not a writing contest? About the christmas cheers, etc.

There's absolutely ZERO mention from the mods and it does get frustrating when it appears that the forum staffs are avoiding writing contests for some reason.

Anybody can write, but not everybody can do a acceptable art piece.

Not to be rude but you're suggesting that SC did Art contests only so some people can never enter those contests and that judges have less applications to sort though. And that would be extremely rude and selfish if that's the truth.
