Yes
No
Depends on what is viewed whilst spying
Ty mod!!!!!!
Taking advantage of the spy to feed them false info (changing bases, moving traps after etc.)., talk in the feed about how you guys are not going t attack, all that stuff, is not cheeting either.
Since when do people do this? I'm a Co-Leader in my clan so I wouldn't want to leave. I've never seen another clan do this though. Even if they did I would reject their request to join faster than a dragon raid on a TH5.
Quit.
Im not sure its as much cheeting as its more of the clan thats spying pretty much admitting thats the only way they can win a battle or war so its a sad excuse for battling this actually happened to my clan and the spys were 1) dumb enough to say what they were doing in my clans chat 2) before they admitted it in chat they donated troops to some members of my clan that were used to attack their own clan (1 of which was a level 3 dragon which was the only troop left that ended up getting my clanmate the 2nd and 3rd star on the attack. 3) the clan that spied still got blown out and the 4 spies between the 4 of them only combined for 3 stars between their 8 attacks
So with the results of it we laughed it off but also learned a valuable lesson to change our clan just worked out in our favor that even with spying that particular still couldnt win lol
The way I see it, it's part of the game. Spying doesn't actually give a massive advantage. The main reason to spy is because it's great fun and adds another dimension to the game.
Having said it doesn't give an advantage, in our last war our spy actually managed to persuade them that we looked too tough and not to attack! We couldn't believe it! It probably would have been a close war but they just rolled over at his sugestion! LOL!
I made a reply to this in another thread, copy-pasted:
Spying isn't c.heating, but it is certainly unsportsmanlike. This is a game where all the players are anonymous. With no serious repercussions and no way to retaliate against clans that spy, you should expect lots of players with lower moral standards to attempt this sort of stunt.
Saying that less cautious clans deserve to be at a disadvantage because they couldn't filter out spies is just rationalization. Someone else's gullibility or vulnerability doesn't excuse your cheap behavior.
