No, its a question related to clan wars, and belongs in the clan war subforum, not general nor here.

    I agree that we disagree!

There are actual spies in real war, why shouldn't it happen in a game? So what if you lose? It's a game, it won't affect your future job or anything..
I don't know what to put here anymore...

That's silly. This isn't a real war. It isn't intended to resemble a real war in any way. It's a game, and games can have rules of conduct.

This thread is kind of a dead end. There haven't been any insights or persuasive arguments. Some people think spying is okay, some people think it's not. Since Supercell has no way to regulate it, and they haven't weighed in on the subject, people will just have to make their own choices.

Still others think think that spying is catagorically wrong and should never be attempted.

Im of the opinion that spying, or at least attempted to spy, adds a bit of flair to a game that, at times, lacks the requisite strategic possibilities to be enjoyable. I do, however, feel that trap and cc spying violates some kind of coc code (lol). Idk. What do you think?

(I apologize for the title. I forgot that one cannot write the word ch e@ting. I would fix it if i could)

A player might as well ghost if they are going to spy on the enemy base. We close our clan and allow no members in during war. Too many people attempt to get in during a war.
