If you are silly enough to let someone in your clan during a war, then you deserve what happens.
I keep the clan closed except to known friends or former members during the war.
Spying in war and peace is a real and viable tactic.
Allowing invites during war is gambling.
    Guard against spying.
    Simple.

It is clearly against the spirit of the game Supercell intended otherwise all traps would be visible. Watching a replay to learn to how to maximise stars with a repeat attack is completely different and clearly within the spirit of the game, the base has already survived one attack. Do you play poker with your cards showing to your opponent, I don't think so.

Those who do it I think it says more about your insecurities and inadequacies in attacking than anything else. Whether your personal standards that accept spying as reasonable mean that you are moral invertebrates in real life is up for debate.

Supercell can fix this and hopefully will by making bases with traps visible only to members in clan war not everyone in the clan, 24/7 war clans can have open doors then.

For those of you who say it happens in real life and real wars, get a grip, this is clash of clans, a fun and competitive game where we escape from real life, romantic ideology perhaps but that is why I play this game....and if I am better than you great, if I am not I will try and improve. I am not afraid of failure in a game for goodness sake.
Haha, in poker, if someone is dumb enough to leave their cards open will you take a look? or you will look away in the spirit of the game?
And in professional poker matches, you need to be able to read opponent face and expression. Is that also cheeting? since not everyone can read faces.

No. Don't be an idiot and accept clan members during a war.

seems we still have a group of moral invertebrates happy to justify their own inadequacies in attacking, you will never be great attackers doing this, read the base for traps, predict the enemy cc have multiple attack strategies for different bases, that is what earns respect in my eyes, not tainted 1 trick ponies with poor techniques

I don't spy, never will, would kick someone who suggested it unless they were joking
