Exactly I am not finding the 150-250k raids I found before the gem boost anymore. I am now switching to 80k and trying to get as many as possible rather thank skipping so much. Are you doing anything different than before to farm?

you should only be raiding for 200k+ of what you are looking for, if I dont see at least 200k gold or elixir or at least 1k DE it's not worth dropping my troops IMO, I get best results when I use that rule, but yeah loot drought now I'm gonna just keep collectors boosted and hide under shield for a while and raid a few in between, if you have lot's of loot RN during the drought you'll probs lose more than you gain, in gold 1 I'm getting raided instantly when offline, it's like champs league all over again but most times noobs find me and I still get sniped lol

You're totally right. I need to get under the shield and hang out for a while. I can't find anything right now. I might just try out different Army Comps, to practice attacking.

I will say that I could have probably gotten the outer walls to purple walls easily, but I actually like having the easy gold dump if I need it. I would highly recommend high level farmers to keep easy gold dumps as long as possible. May be not gold and pink walls necessarily but somewhere to dump some gold 1 million is not that hard to make but sometimes I get over raiding

With boosted barracks, I've been hitting 60-80k. Every 5 minutes adds up...i have been getting 1-2 mil per boost.

I'm currently working toward finishing my main account's TH8 max, and this post has me really baffled.

How in the bloody blue blazes did you nearly max out your skull walls in ONE WEEK? I was boost Barching almost every night for over a month and only managed to get about 80% skull walls finished. I stopped boosting because I realized that I was running out of resource dumps, so I've been raiding much more slowly over the last several weeks. And I'll be raiding very little on my main until I finish all my constructions, because I have next to nothing to spend resources on until I hit TH9.

I would really appreciate it if you laid out how you pulled off your impressive gold grabbing. Things like trophy range, target selection criteria, build priorities, research choices, etc. I ask because my second account is also TH8, but has far less defensive upgrades, and I'd love to learn the most efficient way to build him up before I move him on to TH9. I use him as a source of troop donations for myself, so I do plan to rush him to TH9 soon. I maxed his TH7 research (sans Dragon), and he's already got Barbs, Archers, Balloons, and Wizards maxed for TH8. I'm working on Hogs right now (for war).

back when my TH8 acc was still premmie and I started my skulls I raided for the purpose of maxing my storages out, then as I got lazier I only raided what I needed for my upgrades, so I didn't go for as much loot anymore and lost the real urgency about it, as for how the gold is grabbed, you just pick up an army comp you like, look for a base with lots of loot, and you steal it, when farming hard you should really just raid in sessions and go for big loot raids, settling for small raids won't benefit much unless you are boosting (because sometimes the boost time wasted searching outweighs profit) but generally like I said I hit for 200k+ of the resource I want, loads of collector raids around gold 1-2 range for big loot, but when I really want to grind gold I raid with bam in gold 3, 20 mins and 2 barracks of barbs with 2 barracks of arch trains in 14min unboosted, it's just about the most effecient gold/elixir farming will get, mostly raid TH7s with it if I hit storage raids, TH8 is a bit harder but not impossible to storage raid, but I try and hit collectors with those light armies, and don't drop minions if I don't have to (bring heal spells just in case and don't use them unless it's a storage raid)
