Actually not at all our low defenses match us up with max th8 or early th9, but due to our developed offense we can three star those bases easy. If anything yeah we might give up six stars in war but can also get six stars backOriginally Posted by KingH1
I guess, you cancel yourselves out in that way but still that's not really effective for wars. If you're in a weak clan yes it would work maybe.
I have a TH 9 and TH10 (both rushers) in my clan. Their offense does do well right now but they are vulnerable on defense. Especially the TH10 even with his xbow.
Guys how are you'all doing? It has been a while since I visited this thread, of all us newish TH9s, wanted to check on someprogress. My own lego walls went pretty slow as our clan went on a push, so i was strapped for resources up in Masters. But im nearly done with it now, and will start lavas soon too

I find the opposite to be true. I've been at TH9 for 50 days now and I'm always ranked the last TH9 in wars. However, my offenses do not show as a new TH9. I can still beat up some people ranked way above me.
On the contrary, most people who maxed are ranked way above me, but matched against people who they cannot fight. Its not to say defenses are useless, but not upgrading defenses allows you more time to practice and learn attacks before your defenses catch up.

My only regret for rushing TH8 was skipping the Dark Rax upgrade, but usually it is not much of an issue because my opponents can be downed by giants and golems alike. The only issue is not being able to unlock lavas and witches earlier
