I don't understand zappers. I can get A LOT more DE with 3 rage spells than I can with 3 lightning. Is it because they're so bad that they can't actually raid the DE themselves?

Guy zaps me for 1.2k de.

I immediately revenge. I see he has barely any gold or elixer (30k of each or so). But he has 2.8k de. I use 4 spells to get to his de, kill his cc troops, and end at 38%. Completely worth it. More satisfying than finding a high loot (gold/lix) base.

yes it is. The spells i used to revenge were 2x heal and 2x rage.

Me and my entire clan have a standing policy of "Totally Disproportionate Response" to being zapped. basically we prioritise revenging zappers over anyone, and go in for a full on, wipe them off the face of the planet attack.
Even if we make a small loss, it's about the principle, use a wimpy chicken zap attack, and it'll be painful as you'll lose resources, trophies and have to re arm all your traps.

yeah yeah it's a valid tactic, as is trophy ditching, and gowiwi and barch etc etc... doesn't me we have to take it laying down though.

plus when a TH7 zaps a TH9 or TH10... he's just begging for a CoC wedgie!

got zapped twice in a day

first one 3 zapped me and took 1200

i went revenge on him an hour later, 100% him and took 1000 DE back + around 100k of gold and elixir

second one 4 zapped me and took around 1500

tried to revenge for 2 whole days i only got this in mind. guy always on a shield or online

but at one moment... he wasn't

i took 1300 DE back but i stole him 200k of gold and 300k of elixir. best part is 1 minute later his base wasn't in ruins and no tombstones, so I guess he watched me pound his base hard live.

Just swallow your pride and attack some others. It's not worth the wait in my mind.
Or are you always attacking other players fairly?
