Hey guys, I just got zapped by a new th8, I didn't attack him in the first place so it wasn't a revenge.. He took over 1000 dark from 3 lightning spells so I thought I should either zapp him back, 3 star his base with gowipe ( he has basically full elixer storages too :3), or zap him and take most of his elixer and try for just 39%.. What's the best option?

Whatever works best for you!... The zapper is not likely to know or care why or what you revenge them for, revenge is all about you, so either let it go, afterall it was a paltry amount of DE... or follow some of the revenge strategies mentioned by others. ... pick the one that gives you the most satisfaction...

I'm a massive fan of this option.
He will not care that you revenge him, do what will satisfy you, but don't assume that it will affect him in any way. I raid a lot of higher THs and get revenged quite often; it does not make any difference because by the time someone revenges me, I've collected 10 times what they'll take. Everyone that says 39%, steamroll, etc... That's nice.
logically, best to get you loot back+. Why would you stop short of that?

Don't gowipe. Do Giants + Wizards, 100% him quite cheaply, take everything from him.
I am a TH8 myself and when a TH9 attacks me, I zap in revenge. Yeah. I'm an a-hole
