    New defence: Tesla Cannon!

    Unlocked at town hall 11,

    DISCRIPTION: A powerful weapon that uses a new tecnology discovered by our wizards, electro magnets. This destructive new weapon charges its energy and fires a devestating cannon ball of solid gold. Our builders have defised 2 ways of firing this epic weapon- 1. Shot strait at our enemies which decimates all in its firing line but doesn't reach very far or 2. Shot into the air which reaches all who dare even touch your th11 base but doesn't pack as big a punch on larger enemies as when shot strait at our foes.

    Looks like a mortar but has electric coils around it and about 5 golden rings from the bottom to top, when charging its power the bottom ring, then second to bottom and then after the third ring etc. starts to glow and right before it fires the entire cannon is sizzeling with electricity with all the golden rings glowing. This affect is increased the higher the level. In both modes flakes of gold float among the ashes where the golden cannon ball ended its journey.

    OVERVIEW:

    -Has to be reloaded with gold
    -In ground mode (mode 1) it damages all enemies in its firing line from point •A to point •B for example it aims at Z but Z and X would take damage, Y represents troops out of the firing line.

    It fires in a giant, acurate burst of flame made more extreme in its higher levels and led by the golden cannon ball and even if the enemy is close or far it still damages all the troops infront or behind its target.

    -In air mode (mode 2) its basically a super stong, super far ranged mortar.

    STATS: All

    -Gold needed for purchase: 7 mil
    -Fully reloaded with 100 000 gold
    -2400 Hit points
    -3X3 Building
    -Maximum of 2 Tesla Cannons

    STATS: Ground mode:

    -Damage per second: 500
    -Time between shots: 5 sec (2500 damage per hit)
    -Favoutite target: Any
    -Target type: Ground
    -Damage type: Splash
    -Attack range:##Will be added in future, pretty short, about that of a hidden tesla
    -Fires 10 times before running out of amunition

    STATS: Air mode:

    -Damage per second: 50
    -Time between attacks: 4 sec (200 damage per hit)
    -Favourite target: Any
    -Target type: Ground
    -Damage type: Splash
    -Attack range:##Will be added in future, but very far, can cover almost your entire villige.
    -Splash range: 2X2 Block damage
    -Fires 20 times before running out of amunition

It's all my ideas for th 11 and this thread is copy and pasted from there, attacking and defence is balanced and there this defence fits pretty good into the world of coc.

    Sounds like an electromagnetic rail gun. I like both modes. High speed projectile, which explains it's ability to punch through multiple targets in the Ground mode, and the very long range in the Air mode.

    As for whether it belongs in the game, the Tesla towers have been around for a while now. The wizards have had plenty of time to study and perfect their blend of magic and science. I think it fits perfectly.

    I can't comment on the damage, though it seems high. It's not like it couldn't be reduced to a fair level. One thing that would make it more realistic in Ground mode, is if the damage reduced for each target the projectile went through (due to loss of speed after each impact). That might be more complicated than it needs to be, but it could provide an invader an opportunity to use a "meat shield" to protect an incoming strong unit like a PEKKA or whatever.

    I understand where your coming from but not all troops will come from the same direction and it takes quite a while to fire, thus it would normally be taken out before causing too much damage...thanks for the support, I apreciate it.

    Townhall 11?

    I think this is a pretty slick idea, but Townhall 11 is not coming out anytime soon unfortunately. Supercell have said that if they made a townhall 11 update, everyone will be rushing their bases and will ruin their experience of the game. So, until mostly everyone are maxed out townhall 10, 11 will not be coming out anytime soon.

    I get what your saying but one day there will be a th 11 and if they like this idea mabye it would be implemented
