    Fleshing out Clan Village Wars

    I see people have proposed doing Clan villages. I would like to propose a new style of War. All participants in the clan would build a base that would get grouped in with other bases into one giant mega base. Essentially you could have four bases, three bases across, five bases across at cetera. I've attached a diagram to illustrate what I'm saying. From a development standpoint it seems easy to do. It also seems like the next big thing that could make clash exciting since the release of Clan Wars. It would totally change strategy. Leader & Co could arrange which member is in which location on the grid of single bases that make the war village. As a clan you would have 24 hours for everybody to build their base and make any adjustments. You would not see the enemies base until war time. At War time you would have 24 hours for all members of the clan to attack the entire Village. Everybody would go as single attacks on their own time much like how Clan Wars are now. Except you'd be one person fighting against 49 other bases at once on the high-level. It would take tremendous team strategy and really be a different experience than the current War. goals could be based off a 10 star system. Or even the current 3-star system if you get 50% destruction across the entire Village, 16 of 32 basis for example or get at least half the town halls or 100% the entire Village or you could do incremental 10% is a star or wipe out one whole square of base would be a star Etc. I think it would be easy to implement by the dev team as most of the basic functions are already there the only thing that would be required to set up would be do large maps that incorporated all bases seems like a great idea to me. let's talk about it.



    Like each number in grid is an entire clan member village

    So you want “operations” like in boom Beach? Why not just play Boom Beach? I just don’t see anything like this coming to CoC.

    You should. It’s pretty fun. It’s version of “war” is basically what you describe. There are several very large bases that are attacked by multiple members until the base falls. Lol. That’s not the best description but you can see for yourself. Cheers.

    Naw, I looked it up, not like boom beach. No stacking defenses together or anything. Each member still has their own single war base that is part of a larger Village Collective the trick would be getting your teammates to build your base to intersect with theirs so for example if you had four corners together if everybody put their town hall on the inside corner you'd have the middle of all four squares combinec having four town halls but everybody would have different base designs and would have to work together to come up with designs that share properties as a part of a whole.

    I actually like this idea. But I agree with Bigdome that I don't foresee it necessarily coming to CoC due to the scale and complexity, but... when Clan Wars were first introduced, it was a game changing breath of fresh air that CoC needed. Since then... more TH levels, Builder Base, Clan Games... all meh. Something like this could be huge and a fun new element.

    Just adding thoughts from reading other people's posts. If you had 49 eagles would present a challenge however if each eagle had to be in one per grid there is a 50 tile proximity for them so they wouldn't all hit you. Have the first trigger at 150 troops, second at 300, 450, etc and the nearest to your troop position would trigger. That's half the fun, could you take out two or three eagles in one hit scenario. Also this could be another perk for higher clan levels, unlock new defense perks for your clan level on how things activate. Maybe leaders get a special defense weapon only in village war that can be placed only in thier village that upgrades with clan level. The giga eagle Tesla!!!
