First things first, I want to make sure that you all know that this is not my idea. It has been talked about briefly in the stickies and many posts before this, but I liked the idea and wanted to go into detail. The idea is a clan village. Please post any questions or additional ideas in the comments.
OVERVIEW
This is basically just a giant village that the whole clan contributes to. When I say giant, I mean GIANT. This thing is huge and would be hard to beat with a regular army. Some of its purposes are to:
-Unite clan members
-Add a feature to clan wars
-Fun
-More reason to play
-More money to Supercell
-Increase clan xp production
-New buildings
This probably doesn't answer any of your questions, but keep reading.
FUNDING
After wars, 1/4 of all clan war loot bonuses get added to the money used to build the village. Please note that the member still gets the whole loot bonus, the 1/4 of the money that goes to the village is copied, not moved. On the war results screen, it will tell how much is added to the clan village. I have also seen posts about clan admission fees. If this is added, the money could go to the clan village fund. There are no mines, drills, collectors, or storages. All money comes from wars (or possibly admission fees). The storages is unlimited. All upgrades are 2-3x more expensive (except town hall which is much more expensive). How much more expensive they are depends on how advanced they are (an Inferno Tower would be ~3x and a cannon would be ~2x).
BUILDING
In the layout editor, there would be a third option by home village and war base called clan village. Clan members and elders could see a button that said 'View Layout' which is self explanatory. Co-Leaders and the Leader
would see an 'Edit Layout' button. When clicked on, the editor would be the same as a regular editor, but the 40x40 grid would be 80x80. All build times would be the same. There would be around 8 builders that don't need to be bought.
ATTACKING
Clan villages could only be raided in wars. The clan's leader would select a member to attack the opposing clan village. The selected player is the only player that can attack, but other players can still scout. The village's icon is its town hall but much bigger than the other villages and is located at the top. In clan war preparation, the army of the clan village is filled by all members just like clan castle donations. The clan village will receive clan castle troops, an army, and spells. The clan castle troops are only for defense. The donated spells go into a new building called a spell storage which I will talk about later. After clan war preparation, the player selected will take the clan village's army and spells and attack the opposing clan village. The attack time will now be 7 minutes. There is a max of 5 stars that can be scored on the clan village. They are awarded at 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, and for destroying the town hall. Each star earned is an extra 10xp for the clan.
NEW BUILDINGS
I briefly mentioned a spell storage in the attacking section. This would hold spells used in the attack on the opposing clan village. I am a terrible artist, so if anyone has ideas on what this should look like, please post it in the comments.

how about a clan village in which everyone contributes to make a clan village and in wars that clan village is on the topin clan wars people will have 3 attacks1 compulsory to be used on clan villageand the other 2 on random players plz try to put this in the new updatee

Really like this idea, good read.
i chose needs tweeking on the poll because I think you should add a clan wars section for it.
for example, one nominatated (by the leader) member can receive control of the clan village in clan wars which means using a full compliment of the clan village troops (240 + cc) and only having one attack available which can only be used against the opposing clan village.
something along those lines anyway, your idea your choice, but nice idea anyway

I have an idea that I'm pretty sure has been said but not the way I'm going to say it.
Ok so to begin. Each clan will have its own village! Depending on your rank in the clan it alters what you can do(member elder co leader or leader). Everybody is allowed to donate resources to the clan village which from there the clan leader and co leader will appoint where to spend them. So as far as I know that's all people have bottom so far.. But id like to expand on it.
So each from there elders co leaders and the leader can donate troops to its army camp and it can do attacks controlled by the co leader and leader and they attack other clan villages which will gain it more loot for the clan village (loot cannont be draw from the clan village)
Also, it will show off how much of each resource everyone has donated to the clan kind of like it does for donations.
Also, instead of each clan village looking the same it should be customizable and be able to have different background themes that unlock from clan levels and other decorations that are free and maybe represent the clan symbol.
Also instead of each clan village having the same Heros (arch queen and barb king) the clan leader will actually make and design a single hero who's radius comes from the town hall and the leader can only customize it and it's special abilluty once when he creates the clan but it will give you options like ranged or melee.. Boy or girl.. Appearance.. Color.. Hair.. Weapon.. And let's you spend "Stat points" or "skill points" it gets as it levels up which can be assigned to either hit points.. Damage.. Lessening the rest time.. Or another category that is specific to each hero and another that is specific to their special abillity the leader selected.
Lastly the clan village will be represented in the clan war at the very top! To give it more value and make war clans find it more important it should have double triple or maybe even more stars counted so it matters more. But im not sure if the clan village should have an attack or not that should be up to Supercell and who's does it but also they can donate troops to the war CC's! To help selfish clans who have maybe the leader and a co donating and that's it? Well the co's and leader can have the Clan village donate too! Remember these were just ideas I was spitballing all are probably gonna change in my head and etc but please comment what you think and if absolutely LOVE IT if you commented your ideas down below! Well I don't know how much my opinion matters in this idea but I kind of love it. I'm thinkin it was well put and thought out. Sooo kudos! Lol it'd be an awesome thing to have. I do have one idea on attacking. When you say that the co's and stuff can donate troops to it (I'm assuming there's a limit on how much it can hold {maybe a limit on how much each player can donate}) then maybe possibly when the clan village is attacking, all the players that donated can be in the attack. However, troops can only be deployed if the person who donated them deploys them. I don't know, just a thought. And of course the leader would be in charge of the hero. Also, would the clan village have a separate name or what?
