Cheaper? lol, it costs around the same price to upgrade the pumps of mines to their final level as it does to upgrade a wizard tower to lv 2, maxing out any defensive building to it's last lv is at least 6 million, i think the pumps and mines are unbelievably cheap to upgrade compared to anything else in the game,
I do think that it would be win win, if they filled up a bit quicker, like double the rate they fill up now, but then boosts would be crazy

yeah but the stats are quite deceptive, it's not like you could go to bed and wake up and all your collectors will have 200k to collect, they produce 3500 per hour which means they would take 57 hours to fill,
Shields are only 16 hours and even if you havbe an outside town hall, no one is going to ignore your mines and pumps if their even half full.

well they take 58 days to pay by itself I think they should lower to 4 days instead of 5
Yes, price is really not an issue, they are really cheap compared to anything else, but they take a lot too much time to upgrade. I think lots of people who don't would upgrade them if they were not taking that long.

Why you want them to hold more? ..... Possible you might get more out of inactives I suppose, but dont see any advantage to yourself, by having yours hold more, as loot is better off in your storage than pump, due to the different percentages available to be raided.......
As to the price --- its negligible.... perhaps a reduction in the time to upgrade would be nice?
Supercell neutered my beloved Zaps.... Oh well, adapt and survive... Now BAMing in a league near you, with max rage...
