Lightbulb The future of Clash art and graphics?!

So, with the release of the newest levels of collectors and mines, I've been thinking about the art direction of the game.

There seems to be some highly contradictory art in the game. For example, look at maxed walls. All Electrified and futuristic yet it surrounds buildings that are still very medieval but increasingly ornate.

Another, we have maxed cannons that look very futuristic and high tech while we still have archer towers shooting arrows.

Then we have gold mines, the art of these things (while looking cool) are just increasingly silly and exaggerated versions of the previous art. It's like all high/low tech.

The troops themselves are still all very low tech/magical too. The recent giant character model update is pretty poor. How many more times can we have golden things added, sparkly bits moved or swords made shinier?

The question? Is the direction for art in Clash losing it's way? Where would we like to see it going?

While i'd love to see archers shooting plasma rifles and barbarians with energy blades, I think the game should stick with the medieval theme. I don't like the look of lvl 11 walls, they don't match town hall 10's lava theme at all. There's only so far they can really go with the medieval theme and I think it's reaching the end. Just add some more cogs or gold or fire to whatever ever if it doesn't make sense at all.

I just think they should think they should consider "the next stage" of some of the defences. For example, if they ever rock out another level of Cannon, make it look like a mini-gun! Archer towers can upgrade to more fortified with miniture xbows on top. Other ideas might be to fortify army camps, modernise barracks, add more electric elements to buildings with lights rather than torches and make troops more modern. Not like futuristic with laser guns etc but give archers cross bows and give barbarians, I dunno, chainswords!

I dont care about graphics. The only important thing is that higher troops look stronger and you can distinguish them at higher levels and I think they have done this very good with th9 and 10.
Also it is important that you can still recognize the buildings. They did this really good with the wizard tower. The more pink parts the higher the level and at lvl7 and 8 it gets darker.

The problem with TH9 & 10 art is that there's no consistency across the levels/buildings. Lava this! Electro that! Futuristic things! Medieval troops!

To be honest, I love the mix of futuristic and medieval things. I think it makes the game look more original instead of having just one theme.

Thank you Milos for the sig pic!!

I would love to see the base in perspective, rather than in axonometric.
