My 8th month and 2nd week of playing CoC

It's my 8th month and 2nd week of playing CoC. Well, as my sig says, I semi-quitted for 1 month and 2 weeks in those 8.5 months. I filled my storages before semi-quitting so that I could keep on upgrading cheap stuffs like collectors, bombs, the new mortar, skeleton traps, etc.

I am posting my progress in advance, as I am not sure if I am still playing CoC on my first year, which will be on March 30, 2015. If I still be playing by that time, I probably would have maxed TH10 defenses.

Regarding the progress, I became TH7 some time in the 3rd week of April 2014, TH8 on May 28, 2014, TH9 on July 21, 2014, and TH10 on November 24, 2014.

I started buying gems to boost barracks when I hit TH8. I bought my 5th builder in the end phase of TH7. I also started gemming the upgrade time of AQ when she hit lvl 10.

I already stopped working for walls starting the day that I came back to the game (after I semi-quit) because I am not playing as much as before now.

My average attacks won per season before the time I semi-quit was 530+ -- strictly no TH sniping, and all BArch and BAM. But since the day I came back, it's only averaging 300+ -- that is with few TH snipes, and mostly BArch.

Sad to say, I have no experience with some kinds of attack, like:
Mass Hogs - I was a TH8 when I upgraded them to lvl 2, but SuperCell sneak-peeked the giant bomb damage buff against hogs 1 day after, so my hogs are still lvl 2 up until now. I wish there was a lab upgrade cancel that time!!

Balloonion - I hate the long cooking time. I am looking forward in using this army camp some day when I get bored.

Mass Archers - I haven't tried it, but it looks easy to learn.

I only know how to use GoWiWi, GoWiPe, BArch, BAM, Mass Drags and GiaBArch (Did I forget mentioning anything? LOL).

I don't know. I almost fully quitted before because of what SC did to the loots, but then I just decided to semi-quit, not totally quit.

The loot is rough but I just think it comes with the territory of th 10. We take a 50% loot penalty just for attacking a th8. That's kinda excessive but whatever haha. I came up with a decent strategy that works for me.... i drop to gold 2 then barch back to mid crystal 3 and by the time I'm there my storages are full. Lot of dead bases down in the gold. Not so much in crystal 2. It is frustrating though I definitely understand.

You did a fine job with the grammar. Given that English isn't your first language I'd say you did perfectly

I only raided 1-3 times every time I catch myself shieldless.
I think I only did 30+ attacks in the 1.5 month that I semi-quitted.
That is my definition of semi-quit.
