There's nothing wrong with the troop AI.
If you take time to understand what each troop does and what their priorities are then they will make sense and you will raid better. Even the much maligned Queen has a reason for how she attacks.

They do fix troop AIs , but something new coming up, lol
When my king just walks back and forth. And a group of archers standing next to a full gold storage shoot a wall till time runs out there is a problem.
Queen will still do her thing but I swear they cleaned up something with hog ai in this last update......they aren't splitting off into six different groups anymore, they're acting much more predictably again.

Only thing with bad AI are heroes ( Mostly Queen )
Oh and the troops targeting heroes AI is pure cancer

I've been having issues too. I cant predict what my troops are going to do. At the very least I would like an official, detailed explaination of how troops behave. I mean, that should be a basic part of any strategy game, no?
I really am not a fan of how troops "pause" to think about where to go when a tesla pops up, things like that. The ai feels clunky, and for some reason seems to be getting worse with time. The fact that defending troops/heroes jump over walls really messes with the ai of everything. It's just not done well imo. Troops running back and forth attacking nothing etc...
