I have recently come up with an idea. A troop with the range of the archer, except it targets defenses and shoots poisonous blow darts to poison the defensive structure. So for every shot the defense fires, they would lose x amount of health (maybe 8%). You can't have the defenses lose x amount per second or the attacker can wait out the poison to take out the defenses. They would be sort of like wall breakers, shooting one dart then dying or continuing to attack with a separate weapon (maybe a knife or slingshot). Please, let me know what you think!
