HELP!!!!! TH10 having trouble getting to Champs

Hey all....long time lurker, first time poster. I am a TH10 with maxed defenses (except walls), but am having serious difficulties getting to Champions League. I have tried GoWiWi, GoWiPe, Balloonian, and LavaLoonian....it just seems that with these strategies, I am losing more trophies than I am gaining due to there extremely long training times. I am wanting to do this without having to use gems. Is it possible?

Any pointers and advice would be greatly appreciated. I really would like to make it to Champs

People have gotten to champion league using barch. You should be fine. Just improve your defense it sounds like.

I checked out your base, looks like there is not much to left to upgrade, everything is already maxed out. And your hero levels are good too.

Look at cup offers before attacking and only hit bases worth a lot of cups and you also lose less if you lose the attack on large cup offers. Air is probably the quickest way to get up in trophies these days but you will always have to wait for spells and heroes with whatever combo you use unfortunately. You can get 50% relatively easily with air once you get the hang of it. There's heaps of vids on youtube for loons. I prefer gowipe and it doesn't take a long time to make if you bank the troops up in the barracks. Defence gives you the most trophies. Have a look in your league for what bases are doing well on def and perhaps look at changing your base to something that works in your league. The higher you go the more you need to adapt your base. Up to around 3500 you get a lot of def wins so getting to champ league on defence alone shouldn't be hard if you have max def. Good luck!

be prepared to next until you find the base you feeld comfortable of 1-2 starring depending on your army
How far did you get?
For me I can hog into Masters 2 with easy and underdeveloped bases then I switch to gowipe and next until im comfortable, during which you will find a few snipes as well.
From 3100-3200 is the hardest, you might need to be acclimatised at this level and try a few stratgies and make your base one that can win defences...that makes a huge difference.

Current top mark is 3090. Defense is doing pretty well, but had to make some modifications to the layout to protect a little better against balloonian. Perhaps patience is the key I am missing. I am planning on trying all archers to see if that can get me closer to my goal. Thanks for your input

Well without boosting ur troops and spells is going to be pretty hard, plus leave ur townhall on the outside when u cannot raid, u will lose less trophies. If u losing attacks u need to practice them. Best of luck to u, also there could be a 1 gem boost coming near Christmas on barracks and spell factory, u could take advantage of that. 😊

On my way up to 3000, I was on for hours at a time. Now that I have switched to more time consuming troops and spells, I have been logging off after every attack. Until my last 2-3 attacks most trophies were lost on defense, but I have really messed up my last couple attacks. My lava hounds attacks have been horrible and my loonian raid wasn't any better. Defense has been pretty good. I have gained quite a few trophies that way.
