Whats so good about Xbows?

xbows strike fear when you are th9 and a th7/8 looks at your base. they think "damn 2 xbows i wont go for it" most of the time. And the lvl 3 really look badass.

don't underestimate the aspect of fear into the ennemy's point of vue. that's why walls are also very important

Errr, no. There is nothing so good about an xbow that makes up for the lack of loot at TH9. Max TH8 first, or spend your next several months scraping loot from the collectors of other TH8s.

That's a mistake you will regret, but have at it.

Xbows are awesome once you hit lvl 3+

Yeah, no one is telling u to do that lol. But I'm sure a lot of of us did. TH9 was the first TH I maxed fully (aside from heroes/walls, I had 75% legos and level 18-20 heroes). I went early to TH9 for various reasons. Getting xbows was part of it but not the main reason. It will help your defense but if u go really early and have a lot of upgrading to do, it becomes quite overwhelming.

Do not rush to th9 just for Xbows! Take your time and build a strong TH8. I fully maxed my th8 and I am glad I did, when you get to th9 you will need MASSIVE amounts of resources. It takes time to build up these resources, which means there will be lots of time where you will be sitting on some serious loot, thus being a very attractive target! I love coming across a rich premmie th9 with their level 1 XBows

If someone hits you with a mob of witches and they go a pubic hair off track, the xbow will shred the skeletons faster than the witch can produce n eventually turn their attention on the witch itself.

They seems to overestimate the power of Xbows, even @ level 1.
