    Whats so good about Xbows?

Xbows DPS is Really Bad compared to other defences
Xbow has to be refilled (minimal)
Xbows range when set to ground and air is same as AT
Xbows health is kinda good but thats about it

Well, in my opinion they are a great, but if you believe that by getting a Xbow you suddenly are untouchable then your gonna have a hard time in this game... they are just one more defense its there you help you not do the whole job for ya.

You failed to mention their rate of fire. This allows them to switch targets very fast, and they waste a lot less DPS than defenses with a slower rate of fire.

They have the best range of any defense. Even at air and ground they equal mortars, at ground only they have even longer range. 14 squares in ground only, 11 on air and ground. An archer tower has a range of 10, a cannon a range of 9

There damage is decent once upgraded, hitting 75 at level 3 and 80 at level 4

They have almost no wasted damage (this has been discussed lots with the new archer tower fire rate increase)

They have a lot of hitpoints, far more than cannons or archer towers. 2300 at level 3. A level 12 archer tower only has 870 a level 12 cannon 1070

These points are somewhat true. However you have missed some key points.

While Xbow range is very similar in Air & Ground mode to an archer tower - no defence offers more coverage for ground only. 14 tiles is huge.

The health is better than 'kinda good' too. It's excellent, having these around critical buildings, such as your resourse storages or town hall takes a quite bit of time or many powerful enemy troops to destroy. Allowing you to protect your storages or hall for longer.

They also have by far the fastest attack speed of any defence, which allows them to target the next enemy troop quickly and have no overkill wastage.

Edit: Two similar posts right there as I was typing.

    Area of a circle=πr^2

Area of coverage for an Archer Tower (radius=10)≈314 square units
Area of coverage for Ground/Air Xbow (radius=11)≈380 square units
Area of coverage for Grounded Xbow (radius=14)≈615 square units

There's one of your biggest advantages right there

Look at the fire rate; they don't do the "overkill" damage.

Let's say you have a cluster of a archers that get hit by a bomb. They now have only a few HP left but the nearby cannons shoot only one shot every second or so, killing one archer with each shot. An Xbow can kill 5X as many of these weakened troops, as it shoots about 10 spikes doing 10 dPs each (at level one) per second. This makes it 5X more effective than a cannon (This is what they did to the archer tower in the last update, although the Xbow still has higher rate of fire). Also, Xbows only really have low DPS at level one and they look really sweet. Would you honestly rather have an archer tower that does the same damage or an Xbow?
