There are very many lightning noobs. They drop lightning spells on all dark elixir storages. They get about 800-1200 dark elixir. That is about 2-3 attacks on average for me. These people HAVE to be stopped. In the next update lightning spells should not take loot from storages. My in game name is Allentown Th8 my clan is Kandy Krushklan. If this has happened to you vote yes.
This has been requested for about 2 years or so, and SuperCell have said time and time again they have no plans to change it.
It's annoying, but here to stay. Just revenge them hard if it bothers you that much.

You say it's 2-3 attacks for you on average. Well, consider that 3 lightning spells is 90 minutes of baking those spells for the attacker, unless they gem their spell factory. Sure, it's "only" 3 lightning spells, but for the players that use it, it's a LOT of downtime in between.
Presumably, if they're "noobs", they'll log out for those 90 minutes, allowing people to revenge them.
Or, they're out farming the old fashioned way, with large armies, and when they stumble upon someone with a full DE storage, they drop 3 spells, start baking 3 more, and go back to farming. So maybe they're noobs, or maybe they're experienced players who saw an opporunity and took it. And if they ARE out there farming for gold and elixir in between, they run the risk of not having those 3 lightning spells when they really need them in a traditional farming raid.
