X-bow bug

What more do you guys want? Yes, it's a bug. But as someone who deals with coding bugs as part of my daily job, it happens. Based on the fact they haven't released a fix for this instantly, I'm guessing this requires a very in-depth fix that has the potential for breaking a lot more stuff. They've told you they know it's a bug. They've said they know what the fix is but that it won't be fixed until the next patch and they don't know when that will be yet.

Personally, I think they are doing exactly what they should do. I'd hope they are doing more thorough testing and hopefully this type of issue doesn't happen in the future. Also, let's be fair. This only affects air raids. So, if you want to get around it, start doing ground raids with GoWiPe or GoWiWi or something else. Adapt to the game. My $0.02.

Go to th10 and start gemming your heros, barracks, and spell factory for a month to get yourself above 3600 cups and slowly watch your efforts, time and money disappear. Then tell me what you think of the xbow glitch..
I haven't raided in 7 days except spending 400,000 gold to find a snipe so I could shield up for my clan. Im down almost 100 cups since the update. As I posted earlier, the Gem glitch from about 6 months ago was patched in a matter of hours once they realized what was happening, but since this isn't affecting revenue I guess its not as important..
Like many others I remain on the sidelines watching my cups slowly disappear. I guess I can always stare in amazement at my xmas trees cause that is the only benefit this update has delivered.

I have lost champ because of this bug. I had been struggling to stay afloat in master one. Just watching my resources disappear as I loose raid after raid at 49% was getting depressing. Finally took the call nd dropped to master 3. Have decided to farm my walls nd heros until these jokers fix this situation.!!!

Buddy when you run a billion $ company nd make $$$ left right and centre from this product there is a minimum quality control that is required before releasing an update. If the testing of the update was not done to standards then what is the point of releasing it at the first place. This just shows what kind of a setup supercell is.!!!! So next time people spend real money on this game they should really look at the credibility and then take a call.

I don't understand why this isn't a priority. It's ridiculous. I'm a th9 and I was in m3 working on my heroes, but I'm done. I'm not gonna play like this. If I lose fair and square so be it, but if I lose because I air raid a beatable base only to be screwed because if the xbows I don't want to play anymore.

Just noticed last night one of the xbows on my base had this glitch. I had one xbow set to ground for weeks. Recently as I've pushed upward in cups,I've set it to air. It did not fire at minions n loons last night. I've since went thru my saved bases and deleted bases that had that xbow set for ground. I will report back to see if this corrects the problem.

Finally got attacked by air troops both xbows are shooting air troops now so this seems to have corrected the problem.

Now if some one can tell me how to set them to ground and still shoot air troops I'd be much appreciative. ��

Hi guys,i thought maybe this video helps solidify the statement of xbow bug and prove that the xbow bug(ground hitting air) is still live and active. Looking forward for sc to fix this cuz my loons are getting hurt emotionally.

Hi,

I have been raid by balloons a couple of hours ago... Xbow set on Air & Ground but attacking only troops on the ground. This is in multiplayer mode.

Note that in my war base, I have a Xbow set on ground only...

We loose a lot of gold and elixir because of that bug...

Not good at all...

With 30+ years as a programmer its quite easy to see whats going on.

This error can only have been introduced with the new base editor.

The xbows get their settings from one of the saved layouts... Very simple.

I am pretty sure SC knows this but dont want to Roll back the editor.

My xbow is set to air & ground but it only fired for a few seconds while loons were in range then stopped even when there were still more loons within range and also minions as well. The loons got killed by my wiz towers but a few minions survived. And those minions took out 3 storages within range and de storage which was right beside the xbow.

This is the first loonion attack for me since going to th9 and my xbow is only a little more than a day old. The current base I'm using is saved as my 2nd base in the layout editor.

Same here. Xbows decide to take a break after some shots causing me to get 3 starred by bloonoin attacks everytime
