This thread has turned into irrelevant information from OPs POV.

You absolutely can get Google Play on your Kindle, xda forum guys have been doing it for a while. However, you can sideload the CoC apk onto Kindle's FireOS, heck you could sideload it into the new Blackberrys BB10 OS which also run Android apks.

This does not, however, obviate the fact that you can't attach whatever base you have on your Kindle to Google+ or GC; so at that point, you have to be very careful about keeping your device, and you'll never be able to link it to Google+ or GC in the future (SC has the same probability of supporting FireOS and Amazon User accounts as they do of supporting Windows 8 phones and XBOX Live Accounts - i.e. basically zero).

In short OP, go for an el cheapo Android KitKat or Lollipop tablet and call it a day - or resign yourself to not being able to attach to GC or G+.

    Thumbs up Really?

That was a rude suggestion. I also want to point out i was talking about only the support. almost everything you told me was irrelevant. nevertheless you made one good point (based off of opinion and not factual information).

What was rude about my post? My post _did_ talk about support: there is none, nor will there likely every be. End of story - please re-read if you are unable to understand, or kindly ask for clarification.

I expressed _zero_ opinions in my post, just facts - your one option right now, based on the state of affairs with Amazon, SC, Apple, and Google. No one wants to have anything really to do with Amazon. Having worked on released iOS apps and having submitted linux kernel patches both into kernel trunk and android branches (PM for my git commits), I can sensibly and intimately comment on both platforms.

Harping on about a device like Kindle, which is unequivocally a poorly thought out device, coupled with the technological abortion that is FireOS, is not going to get you anywhere. This is more than evident in its abysmal sales.

This is what I get for trying to help.

I actually did play on my kindle fire until I was almost a max TH 7. Then the unthinkable happened and I lost all my data. Luckily, I already had an Android tablet enroute. SUPERCELL was kind enough to work with me to get my account back, but if I hadnt been able to tranfer it to the new device I would have been SOL.

As much as I like my fire, I cannot deny that it has limited capabilities as it is now. Much prefer my new device.

    Good luck!

    Android, yes.
    Kindle Fire OS, no.

I'm certain you know that this is not true. Five seconds on Google would prove me right.

Back on topic: OP, it is sad to say that the chances of SC supporting the Kindle are slim to none. Probably closer to none.

Hmm. Why are you repeating almost verbatim what I stated hours earlier, and then proceeding to deeming it 'not true'?

I guess I should have highlighted exactly what section I was referring to:

That section is not correct. You can get Google+ on a Kindle without rooting.

    moved to the correct section.

OP as you know Clash is not supported on Kindle and there are no plans for SC to do so, the problem is not simply making it run it is maintaining yet another platform in a single multiplayer environment.

The other aspect is the number of users on Kindle which is pretty tiny overall.

So that's about it you are welcome to continue discussing it and if SC chose to look in the ideas forum for arguments TO support it then i'm sure they will see yours.
Now retired from YouTube, feel free to say hi I always like a good chat
I still run my twitter account it's @daddy_clash (although I rarely tweet)

    Nothing really to add...

...but I do wish SC, Amazon and Google would learn to work together and open up the platform (if indeed it is a separate platform). The mostly sounds like a stubborn business decision that is costing both companies money. I may still try to figure out how to brute force COC onto the Kindle Fire, but it annoys me that it doesn't have to be that way.

    Great comments

Just wanted to thank all the people who gave intelligent comments. I see the point of view on all sides and the bottom line is it is unsupported and currently there are no plans. You can ♥♥♥♥ AND SLASH your device and do things to make it work.. but, forget about the sync of your current account and be WARNED that you can lose your account on a major update.

Bottom line, buy an Android or (cough) a IOS device of some sort and call it a day.

Thanks for helping me figure out weather to bother with this Amazon device that was given to us for FREE.
