Against GoWiPe one can max their teslas and walls and use their heroes and cc to path the pekkas away while the teslas take them out. The attacker will not be able to plan where the teslas are ahead if you don't make them obvious. Against hogs one can simply add double giant bombs to any base. Against dragons it's already been established that dragonloon will eat through any AD placement so it's 3 stars most of the time.

Let's just nerf everything. No one is happy until they get what they want! How about this, Make a TH8 Anti-Dragon base and then watch the dragon attacks. Seriously, there are solutions to problems.

I feel that as long as they spend a ♥♥♥♥ ton on those dragons they should see some real work being done, would not be fun only getting 50% with all dragons, they should be feared lel

Dragons need to be nerfed hard. The only thing I'm seeing in clan wars against TH8s is dragons, and 3 stars.

The lv 3 dragon is a problem because it's too powerful for TH8.

The lv 3 dragon however is fine for TH9 and lv 4 dragon is fine for TH10.

That is where nerfing becomes difficult. If you nerf the lv 3 dragon it will be completely useless at TH9. And you can't just move the lv 3 dragon to TH9 as there will always be some TH8 who already have it unlocked.

How do you propose to balance it?

I don't think they are Overpowered - but they are a CRUTCH to uninspired players and something needs to change.


I've seen 10 L3 dragons 3 star my war base (maxed th8), and I've seen it 0/1 star - the devil is in the details once you've built your base up in such a way that its more an attacker's game than anything.


But compared to other army comps, it does require the least amount of skill - just drop and watch.


It really does get tiring to see 90% of the war attacks done by TH7-8s be all dragons - and there is some validity in using them if the players want to net a large profit in dark elixir.


What you should do is work harder to have your team always beat those mass dragon players. When they lose, they lose big. 300K elixir lost when your team loses..... so make these noobs hurt!!! I'm urging my teammates to put their air defenses further inside their base however possible as it increases the proclivity of these dumb attacks to star less.


I just don't think TH7s should have level 2 dragon available from square one, or TH8s level 3....would fix a great deal but it's too far gone to be "undone" anymore.

Thats exactly what I'm saying, cheers. TH9 gets an extra AD, and it is a valid "fix" to just jump to TH9 and stop these attacks, but its impractical.


And subtlety would have to do it - only a 10 dps boost which won't really change these war outcomes to any great amount, but will inspire other troop compositions to get more stars.

it is currently balanced. no need for a.d. and dragon changes.. a th 7 ofcourse can be easily 3 starred by lvl 3 mass dragon attacks that should be fine since they are Th7. while on th8, if you place your a.d, air bombs, and seeking airbomb wisely, you wont be 3 starred easily. I do know that for a fact because our clan is housing almost 20 th 8 bases. those who had lvl6 a.ds rarely get 3 starred. same goes to our enemy clan who has near maxed th8s, we rarely see our members 3 starring those bases.

you also should not forget that archer towers, wizard towers and lightning towers are part of the key in defending lvl3 mass dragon attacks.
