If you click into their official statement, you can see the wording is "will get roughly the same number of trees in the long run", which means it is random and not guaranteed in any way.

Regarding the spawn points, those two spots in question are most likely the preferred spawn point. If those spots are not available it will spawn somewhere else. Also does not guarantee you will get another tree.

Yes, that is correct, it can either be gold or elixir, and I've gotten my first but cut it down in hopes of getting one to spawn on the outside of my base next to and like my Halloween Headstone.

I had a couple of questions about the X-Mas Tree that just came out.

I want an X-Mas Tree to spawn on the edge of my base preferably next to the Halloween Headstone, would my base work to do that? I have since moved the gold mines and elixir collectors and the only one that is one space away from the dark green perimeter is the elixir collector next to the gold mine.

Do the X-Mas Trees spawn outside of the 1 tile perimeter or is it inside the perimeter, anywhere there is a 2x2 space?

Does there need to be a certain number of spaces on my base for it to spawn?

Also, no other obstacles have appeared since creating this base a couple of days ago, am I doing something wrong?

You're talking about removing the gift, I was asking if it will spawn gifts after they remove the winter theme.

I think this means after the update is removed. I would think not as they remove the X-Mas trees, I would think they would also remove the presents with it. If you want, you can save them up, but if you do, make sure you have it the way you want before they update!

I had a christmas tree in the middle of my base which is not what I wanted, so I removed it, but now I cant get another to spawn, I have a christmas tree base but I cant get another to spawn, is it possible to get another after removing one?
