Why not postpone TH upgrade & ENJOY your fully Maxed base extensively?

Agreed 100%. I tell my clan this too. No rushing. It takes away a sense of earning and you lose out on a lot of the fun. If you're into rushing, fine, that's your thing. I won't judge you or say you're wrong. You just won't be in my clan.

Yes, I'm the guy who started clash on october 27 and rushed from TH1 to TH8 in 5-7 weeks. I got rejected from your clan but happened to join the clan you warred against and 3-starred your maxed TH7 base with my rushed TH8 and you can only get 2 stars at best. How does it feel that you've been playing for 7 months compared to my 2 and you still lose? Ofcourse I never applied for your clan and we never did war, but you get the idea Rushing is fun if you raid and farm well.

TH8 only takes 3 months to max, so why stay at TH7 for an extra 6 months???!!! By that time, you could be more than halfway done with TH9.

As a TH9, your defenses will finish LONG before your heroes, research and walls. So that is a logical place to hang out. Plus, you'll have a base and troops that actually allow you to push up to high leagues using a real army. As TH7, pushing basically just means sniping.

TH1-TH7 is like the introduction to the game.
TH8 is like the first chapter.
TH9 is where the story truly begins.

Reckles, you aren't 3 starring any decent TH7 with those lvl 7 barracks. And any TH7 with dragons and lightning bolts can 3 star you and your weak AD. In clan wars, you would have difficulty 3 starring a TH8, whilst they would walk all over your base.

Rushing is fine. But eventually you'll have to pay your dues.

You could be halfway to maxing a TH8 in that time. Just seems like a colossal waste of dark elixir that could be spent upgrading your BK.

One of the thing I like about Korean food is all those side dishes... All put on a table so i can savor each one and choose the one i like the most

IMO TH9 is the best. TH7 is too week and TH8 is good.

Yeah, me too. enjoyed as a maxed th9. working on lavas and heroes right now but in a relax ways. no rushing..

I am TH7 and all of my defense, buildings, walls, units and spells are all fully upgraded.
I don't plan on upgrading to TH8 for several months.
I want to relax and enjoy my pimped out base for a long time.

Now I'm not saying others need to wait 6 months before leveling up to the next TH, but shouldn't we at least spend SOME time enjoying ourselves before moving on?

What's the rush? The game isn't going anywhere.

After initially leveling up to a higher TH we are all scrambling to farm and upgrade our defenses so that we're not easy pickings for resources.

But after everything is topped off, why not take a breath and play purely to have fun?

Waste 300K elixir on a dragon rush.
Build those 40 hogriders and let them go crazy!

max out your 200 limit army camps with level 4 wizards and donate to all your clan mates. they'll love you for it.

Im sure this makes perfect sense to you and that's great! In my reality, I could upgrade TH, and still enjoy bombing people with maxed TH 7 troops, while my defenses are upgrading @ TH8(since resources aren't gonna be that important for the next couple months for you). It's all a matter of perspective though, and if this keeps you from burning out on the game, that's great. Honestly though, you have at least a year of upgrading from 8-10, and good luck if you want level 10 walls/maxed heroes. Enjoy TH7 I agree with others who say TH9 is where the game began.
Edit: You can still upgrade, and, enjoy the game in a relaxed manner..just don't stress about the upgrades..

At th7 you haven't even gotten to the beginning of the game yet. Saying your going to hang out at th7 and enjoy it as much as possible is like saying your going to hang out in the locker room and enjoy it as much as possible rather than the football field.

Take those 6 months and use them to hang out at max th8 or even better max th9.
